was voiced by Alexander Gould who, at age 22, hardly sounds like a child anymore, and which Nemo supposedly is. &nbsp;<em>Finding Dory<\/em> was also supposedly a story that took place after <em>Finding Nemo<\/em> so it was essential the child like voice be kept by Nemo. &nbsp;Eleven year old Hayden Rolence has taken on the role and has been eagerly studying the lines and was quoted by the<em> International Business Times<\/em> as told to <em>The Washington Times<\/em> that, \u201cI mainly tried to make my voice sound like Alexander\u2019s voice, because I thought he was such a good person to play Nemo.\u201d &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/crush-and-squirt.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1693 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/crush-and-squirt.jpg\" alt=\"crush and squirt\" width=\"274\" height=\"184\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/crush-and-squirt.jpg 274w, https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/crush-and-squirt-192x128.jpg 192w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 274px) 100vw, 274px\" \/><\/a>We remember the father and son sea turtles, Crush and Squirt from the prequel. &nbsp;Crush was and still is voiced by Andrew Stanton. &nbsp;Squirt, however, is voiced in <em>Finding Dory<\/em> by Bennet Damman, also a child actor, replacing Nicholas Bird, who is now also 22.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are two new main characters in sequel&nbsp;<em>Finding Dory<\/em> who we haven\u2019t met in <em>Finding Nemo<\/em>. &nbsp;That Dory has short term memory and was probably lost herself when Marlin, Nemo\u2019s dad came upon her as he was searching for his son is not inconceivable. &nbsp;It turns out, Dory\u2019s parents have also been looking for her. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Charlie and Jenny are the Pacific Blue Tang\u2019s responsible for Dory\u2019s existence. &nbsp;These two delightful characters that helped to make <em>Finding Dory<\/em>, truly Dory\u2019s story are voiced by Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton. &nbsp;You will remember Eugene Levy also as the voice behind Orrin in <em>Astro Boy<\/em> and Lou in <em>Over The Hedge<\/em> to name a few of his voice acting gigs. &nbsp;Diane Keaton has also had a voice gig as Daphne in <em>Look Who\u2019s Talking Now<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finding Dory opened June 17 and seems to be fetching in audiences of all ages fast, another success for Pixar and the voice actors behind the animation. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By and large, the cast for Finding Dory are carried over from Finding Nemo, except for two characters whose age and physiological change to&#46;&#46;&#46;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":1691,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[36,425],"tags":[433,156,114],"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1690"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=1690"}],"version-history":[{"count":4,"href":"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1690\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":4637,"href":"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1690\/revisions\/4637"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1691"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1690"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=1690"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=1690"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
