Is 1800-247-33 pronounced \u201cone eight hundred, two four seven, three three\u201d or \u201cone eight hundred, twenty-four seven, double three\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n This will save re-records, wasted time, and frustration from both sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2) <\/strong>What level of production is involved?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Decide if you need the voice talent to provide you with the RAW audio, which is unedited for you to edit, or if you need the talent to clean up the audio and cut the files down into smaller files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For example, if you\u2019re making a PowerPoint presentation, you may need 100 separate MP3 files. This takes extra time and is generally an extra fee. Be clear about what is needed right up front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3) <\/strong>Give the voice talent background on the project. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If the voice actor has an understanding of what the project is about, how it will be used, what results are hoped to be achieved, and who the target audience is, they will be able to tailor the read to give you a better recording.
