We receive hundreds of submissions every single month from voice actors wanting to be a part of the site. We may only accept one or two voices for every 20 applications we receive.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/voice-over-talent-wannabe.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-826 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/voice-over-talent-wannabe.jpg\" alt=\"voice-over-talent-wannabe\" width=\"204\" height=\"248\"><\/a>Here&#8217;s some of the main reasons we reject talent. It&#8217;s also essentially the difference between a&nbsp;<a title=\"professional voice talents online\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/voice-talent.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">professional&nbsp;voice talent<\/a> and someone &#8216;not quite there.&#8217;<\/p>\n<h4><!--more--><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #444444;\">Audio has a hiss or is generally not to the standard a client would expect from a professional voice.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #444444;\">Room ambience produces an echo.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #444444;\">Not following instructions. It is imperative that clients are presented with only the best voice actors. Voice talent need to be able to follow direction as the majority of <a title=\"voice over jobs and auditions\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thevoicerealm.com\/break-into-online-voice-overs.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">voice over jobs<\/a> need to be self produced.<\/p>\n<p>Clients expect quick turnaround and professional service. They have many options and websites to find a voice, therefore customer service and their experience with the site is one of the most important factors.<\/p>\n<p>This also means that clients are being made aware more and more that they get what they pay for. If they pay $20 on one of those freelance sites, they can expect to have problems.
