What imaging needs

Attitude, batches, and dry files.

Dry, so your producer can play

Imaging reads arrive dry and clean. Your production team lays the beds, hits and effects, so ask for a little air around each line.

Record in batches

Send a month of liners in one script. It is priced as one booking for the same station and the voice stays consistent across the whole set.

A voice that is there next month

Voices keep their profiles here. Rebook the same person for next quarter's promos and the sound matches.

How hiring works here

Three steps, no middleman.

You deal with the voice, the site holds the money, and the price is the one on the rate card before you start.

1

Post a casting, or pick a voice

Paste a few lines of your script and post a free casting; voices who suit it read those lines back to you. Already heard the one you want? Book them straight from their profile.

2

Choose from real reads

Auditions arrive as recordings of your words in their voice, usually within hours. Pick the one that fits, or none of them. Nothing is owed until you book.

Radio and TV imaging has its own line on the rate card; commercials for the station's advertisers are priced as spots.

Questions people ask

Imaging questions, answered.

What is the difference between imaging and a commercial?
Imaging is the station talking about itself: sweepers, liners, IDs, show promos. A commercial sells an advertiser's product and is licensed by market. They sit on different lines of the rate card.
Can I book a voice for regular monthly imaging?
Yes. Most stations send a batch script each month and rebook the same voice; it is priced per booking and the voice stays consistent.
Do the files come produced?
They come dry, which is how imaging producers want them. If you need beds and effects added, add production and say what the station sounds like.
How fast can I get a batch of liners?
Often the same day for a short batch. Each voice shows the turnaround they keep on their profile, and urgent castings can be flagged.
