Is on-hold the same as IVR?
Related, not the same. IVR is the menu that routes the call; on-hold is what plays while the caller waits; greetings and voicemail bookend the call. One voice can record all of them in one booking.
Can the voice add music under the hold messages?
Yes, as production. Send the music you have licensed, or ask for royalty-free, and the messages come back mixed and levelled for a phone line.
How do I update a message later?
Rebook the same voice for the new lines. Voices keep their profiles, so the update matches the rest of the set.
How long should an on-hold script be?
