How it works

Three steps. No middleman.

Most translation sites hand your text to an agency and you never meet the person doing the work. Here you pick them yourself, hear their voice, and talk to them directly through the job.

01

Pick two languages

The one your text is in and the one you need. The page shows only the people who work between them.

02

Choose your translator

Read their profile, see every pair they work in, and press play to hear the voice that could record it too.

03

Book and upload

Set the deadline, attach your text, pay once. The translation lands in your account, and the same voice can record it next.

Why here

People who live in the language, not software that guesses at it.

A machine can swap the words. A native speaker knows which ones a real person would actually say, how a joke lands, which phrase sounds like an ad and which sounds like a friend.

Native speakers onlyEvery translator translates into a language they grew up speaking, regional variants included.
Translate and record in one placeThe translator is a professional voice actor. The script that comes back can be recorded by the person who understands it best.

How long will it be in their language?
And what will it cost?

A 1,000-word English script is not 1,000 words in Spanish, and it is not words at all in Chinese. Paste your script, pick the two languages, and see the translated length, the reading time and the price before you book anything.

Will you have it recorded too?
Your estimate

Paste a script, pick the language you need, and this panel fills in: how long the translation will be, how long it takes to read, and what it costs.

Rates

Priced by length and by pair.

How long your text is, and which two languages it moves between. Most jobs here are English with Spanish, French, German, Italian or Portuguese, and that is the standard card. Rarer pairs cost a little more, because fewer people can do them well. You see the price before you book, in US dollars.

Want it voiced as well? Add a recording of the translated script at our standard voice over rates, by the same person if you like.
Not sure how long it will be in the other language? The translation calculator above works it out and prices it.

Affordable online translation services

Translation and voice over, in the one place.

Hire the best male and female voice actors for your next professional recording, and have the script translated by the same people first. Our translators are experienced professionals who deliver quality translations at affordable, published prices.

Simply select your original language and the language you need, and the page shows you the suitable candidates. Better still, the translation can be recorded by a professional voice actor if you wish, at our usual voice over rates, so the finished audio sounds like it was written in that language, because in effect it was.

Forget about sorting through thousands of amateur translators on sites that give you headaches with messy and wrong translations. All our translators are pre-screened, rates are clear and consistent across all languages, and every booking comes with a satisfaction guarantee and great customer service.

Whether it's a commercial, an explainer, an e-learning course, a phone system or a video for a new market, the same simple process applies: two languages, one translator, one booking. If you'd rather talk it through first, the live chat in the corner reaches a real person, day or night.

Questions

The things people ask before their first translation.

How does translation work on The Voice Realm?
Pick the language your text is in and the language you need it in. The page shows you the translators who work between the two, all native speakers and all professional voice actors on our roster. Open a profile, hear how they sound, then click Hire for translation, upload your text and set the deadline. The finished translation comes back to your account.
Can the same person record the voice over?
Yes, and that is the point of doing it here. Every translator on this page is also a professional voice actor, so the person who translated your script can read it, in their own accent, with the meaning intact. Book the translation first, then book the recording with the same voice, or mention in your brief that you want both.
How much does translation cost?
Translation is priced by word count and by the pair of languages. English with Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese or Dutch is the standard card: from $80 for a script of up to 500 words. English with a less common language is a quarter more, and Chinese, Japanese, Korean or a pair with no English in it is half more, because far fewer people can do those well. Every card is published on this page in US dollars and you see the price before you book. Chinese and Japanese scripts are counted in characters, about 1.6 and 2.2 per English word, and the card shows those counts when you pick the language. A voice recording of the translated script is priced separately at our standard voice over rates.
Which languages do you translate?
Over eighty, from Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese to Arabic, Mandarin, Japanese, Hindi and many more, including regional variants such as Latin American, Mexican and Castilian Spanish, or Brazilian and European Portuguese. If a pair is not listed yet, ask us and we will find someone.
How quickly will I get it back?
You set the deadline when you book and the translator works to it. If it is urgent, say so in the brief before you book so they can confirm they can meet it. You can message them through the job page at any time.
What if something in the translation is wrong?
Tell the translator through the job page and they will put it right. Every booking on The Voice Realm is covered by our satisfaction guarantee, and a real person on our support team is a live chat away if you need us to step in.
