How many re-records can I get to ensure my script is read the way I want?
If the voice has made a mistake or missed your direction, re-records are free. If you change the script after recording, that counts as a new recording. Do I own the audio? What are the licencing terms?
Recordings for non-broadcast use (phone messages, YouTube, e-learning, audiobooks, personal use) are buyout in perpetuity, so you can use them forever with no extra fees. Broadcast recordings for TV, radio or internet commercials are licensed for one year from the recording date. Recordings with several uses should have all applicable rates selected.
Can the voice talent add music or edit the recording into smaller files?
